HOA Announcements

HOA Announcements will be posted here by the Association Manager or the HOA Board Members:

New HOA Management company:

What is Changing?
The Iron Horse Canyon Homeowners Association (IHC HOA) Board of Directors (Board) has decided to terminate the HOA’s agreement with our current property management company, FirstService Residential (FSR). The Board performed extensive reviews of submitted proposals, interviews with the top candidates, and comparison with the services FSR has been providing. Based on this review, the Board determined FSR is no longer the best candidate to manage our HOA.

Who is the new Management Company?
The Board has selected Diamond Association Management & Consulting (DAMC) as the new association management company.

When is the Change?
DAMC will begin managing the IHC HOA effective September 1, 2018.

Where is DAMC located?
14603 Huebner Rd., Building 40
San Antonio, TX 78230
(210) 561-0606
www.damctx.com

Who is the DAMC Property Manager for IHC?
Greg Heaton will manage IHC effective September 1, 2018.
Greg@damctx.com

Who do I contact for HOA issues before the change?
Contact FSR for all HOA issues and questions prior to September 1, 2018.

Will the HOA Website address change?
No, the public HOA website is independently managed and will not change from its current address of www.ironhorsecanyonhoa.com.

Will DAMC have a resident portal?
Yes, DAMC will have a password protected homeowner portal for our HOA with your assessment balance and payment history with DAMC, covenant and ACC letters, calendar, directory and more. Information about how to register with the optional portal will be mailed to you.

What do IHC residents need to do?
Stop all existing automatic payments to the HOA until you have received a new payment address. DAMC will be sending out the 4th quarter 2018 billing notice in September with a new payment address. DAMC uses a lockbox system with a Las Vegas payment address. This information will be sent to you with DAMC’s initial letter and on the assessment statement, they will mail. We recommend owners use their own bank’s bill pay service to send payments directly to the lockbox address.

The Board is excited about the change and services DAMC will bring to our community. We will strive to make this transition as smooth as possible. Your patience during this change is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

David Cato
Board Member, IHC HOA
